So its been a pretty eventful time here in Portland. I have gotten 2 jobs, made some friends, lost some friends, still hitting the bars, and still taking names. This last week we had some visitors. It was the opposite of the sour patch kids commercial, at first it was sweet and then it was sour. We're still laughing about it, even though I'm sure there are others that do not find it comical.
In other news the dude at the grocery store thought Eizelle and I were twins. We laughed and that didn't help our denying because he said our laughs were the same too. haha Well you can decide for yourself:

So I think I might be getting bites in the job market. And the one I really want is through volunteering. The other is from my love of candy. I'm thinking I might be able to take both if I play my cards right. I need to save up for some vacationing......canada and europe here I come!

Little town, such a quiet village, everyday like the one before...

I finally finished the book Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides. Its shameful how long it took me finish it but I blame it on me thinking that laying down and reading at the same time are a good idea (not I just fell asleep almost every time I picked it up). Other than me being a sleepyhead I really enjoyed the book. It was very descriptive and entertaining. Most of the time it made me chuckle to myself however there were some serious moments that almost brought a tear to my eye. Two enthusiastic thumbs up!
Other than sleeping while trying to read that book I've just been searching for a job and helping out at the Oregon Humane Society. I've been working at the retail store there and its way fun. The best part is seeing the people who are getting to take their animal home and their excitement for their new pet. So ya basically I look forward to the days that I get to go into OHS.
I'm also thinking about starting a 52 week project on flickr. Not sure yet. I'm thinking not of myself but of my bunny.

One of the best concerts that I have ever been to, No Doubt! I've wanted to see them since they first entered my ears. It all finally came to be thanks to Christa. I got to go with all my favorite people which made it even more special. There were points when I thought I was going to cry but held it back and kept on dancing. My body was sore for about a week afterwards. haha I still wouldn't change a thing. It RULED!
I've been hustling for a job so I can go on vacations. heh I need to pay bills, vegas and a trip to France next year so I can storm the beaches of Normandy. I hope I get something soon.
I've also been hanging out at the Oregon Humane Society more. I work in the little shop located inside that sells stuff for animals(how appropriate).

I remember my senior year they asked us to fill out this questionnaire on songs that we would like to have during the graduation. I put down, John Lennon, In my Life. I thought it was most appropriate. However the drawing was won by green day, time of your life. lame.

Mind Over Manners will be making a come back at Crafty Wonderland! I'm way excited. I need to get my rear in gear to make some little items to sell.
While we were at Crafty Wonderland we created a list of things that we either forgot or thought would make our little set up better. I'm so excited to go over that list and get everything.
I'm going to look into our business cards and packaging.

Time is flying.
We went to a party on Saturday. Rephrase. We made the party on Saturday.
Sunday I had my first adventure with the river. Rephrase. I sat at the water's edge on a rock. Hoping I wouldn't fall in and ruin my ipod.
Rented Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Movie. It was way better as a kid but still good.
Today I had an interview with a agency. Its like match.com but for a job. exciting.
Went to science pub, it was about forensic science. Made me wish I went into bio instead of psy.
