I like to sing to the cats while I clean the rooms in the back. It helps me work on my singing voice and it distracts me from them being nasty. Work has been weird. Each day definitely brings a new challenge. I'm just glad that at the end of the day I can laugh about whatever stupid thing those crazies throw at me. The best part is knowing Erika has my back, if she wasn't so awesome I would be struggling. I want a tattoo. I want to be cool like everyone else. I want to get a tooth with eizelle. A super cute tooth.

Today was the busiest day in a long time. Right when I got there I was running around. Today was a big day to say good bye to your pets. Crazy.

Tomorrow starts a day in the life. We'll see how that goes. It ended up happening on make new friends weekend. Not sure how that's going to go down. I just need to be nice. Which is so hard for me.

I also want a tattoo. Need to come up with something.

Let's get physical...

A conversation erupted during lunch about how my list of things I hate is bigger than my list of things I enjoy. Then my boss piped in and asked what I did for fun, what I did on my days off. I had no answer. I at first didn't want to say drinking but I don't really do that on my days off. Then got distracted with other peoples answers that I again had no answer.

Anyway, this weekend I'll be doing a day in the life: Anissa.

Back to the convo. I don't think i'm any more or less picky than anyone else. And I try not to have an answer of,"just because" when I say I don't like something. Most of the time the reason I don't like things is because it's too expensive and it doesn't wow me. i.e. movies, pizza, por que no, little big burger, etc.

Things I've been doing. Nothing really. Works been fun. We went on a field trip the other day. The quotes from the drive are still making me giggle.
Trivia is getting taken over by idiots. We didn't win last week. I'm still a little pissed.

I told my boss about the HUGE OHS ad in milwaukie. She said why were you in milwaukie? I live there lady! Someday I will have paid off my student loans, credit card debt and will be able to fend for myself.

Next big adventures:

-Going to seen Jon Benjamin

-going to Seattle to bang my head into a toilet seat.

-trying to plan a trip to BC. Rough when I can't find someone to go with. That wasn't supposed to sound wah wah it's just that my friends have different days off than me or go to school.

-excited about the warm days! RIVER RAT!

What do you do when the visitors have gone? Read a book, after some interneting.
I haven't been cooking in the last 2 weeks. It's been busy with no days off.
I took the family to work and everyone said what I told them to say. Heh the best part was my bosses were in a meeting, saw I was there, paused the meeting and wanted to meet my mom.
We ate a lot and drove a lot. I think I might be going to visit them in August, William is making his first holy communion. *crossing fingers for cheap flights*
It's been an exciting couple of weeks, first with Shane and Eizelle visiting and then the fam bam. Now it's just relaxing and saving so we can see each other again.

We didn't read it in the big book, And now we're giving you the look look.

Whoa, way behind on updating the blog on my new years resolutions.
I finished one book this year and now on to number 2. It's called the bell jar and I really like it. Eizelle got it for me for Christmas and I'm already in the second chapter. That's good for my add brain.
The week after coffee making I made this chicken concoction:

The week after that was fish and grilled vegetables. That was nom nom. The candy apple in the pic was not made by me but was yummy.


The week after that was dessert time. It was a chocolate chip cookie cheese cake. It was ok. The cookie part wasn't cookie enough for me. Too crumbly. Next time will be way better.


This week was shrimp tacos. Yes easy but the shrimp was marinated. So there. More than 2 steps. Lots of things were chopped and I used bell peppers and onions. Whoa. I realize they are needed for flavor, I didn't need them on my actual taco.


Sweet this month is rolling and I want it to be over already so that I can see Eizelle, Shane, my parents, aunt, cousins and littler cousins! Fun fun fun!

Can the child within my heart rise above?

So I keep forgetting to post about my resolution progress. The one book a month is not going well. I get distracted way too easily! I'll finish it this week. As long as I finish 12 books this year I'll feel that the resolution was done(already stretching the rules).
Last week I made this pesto pasta with broccoli, shrimp and tomatoes. It was just a mix of things I love. It turned out kinda bland like it was missing something. Like real meat (meat from the sea is not real) or salt or something. Probably just needed a little sausage piece or something to give it that extra umph.

This week I made some Cold brew coffee or toddy style. I'll know tomorrow if it's yummy. I think I should have added more water. Oh well this is just going to be way strong and I'll need to add more condensed milk.
