its me and the moon....

It feels like so many things are going on yet, I'm writing a post after eating the best sandwich I've ever made. Well I'm sure I've done better, I didn't have any tomatoes. Anyway here are the current events:
+Christmas is coming the goose is getting fat, time to put a penny in the old man's hat. I'm not a little kid anymore so its not that big of a deal. However, Waverly and I have made some surprises for everyone and they should be sent out next week some time. *fingers crossed*
+OHS should be adopting out the 10,000 animal this coming week. I'm so excited that I'm going to be there this year. Hope it doesn't snow this year.
+I've been housesitting for the last 2 weeks. Waverly got to come with me and made new friends. She and Fiona (golden retriever) did the best together. They sat by the window and relaxed in front of the heater together. BUT once I tried to get a picture Waverly was out of there. LAME! At the other house she tried to make friends with 2 cats. Not super successful but they could be left alone and were all still alive when I got back.
-My room is a mess from just running through and collecting stuff. Cleaning it today.
-I can't remember the last time I went out. And if I hadn't forgotten to pack my food before I house sat this week I could say that I couldn't remember the last time I ate out.
+I've been saving money and forcing myself to "cook" (i.e. noodles, SANDWICHES, spam w/rice, anything else that doesn't need much preparation or cooking)
+Saw Harry Potter last night. OH SNIP SNAP! I can't wait for the next one. I don't have the patience to read the books but maybe. Brooke and Justin live by the cheap theater and it was already there, so I walked myself there after I realized I had been staring at the cats all day. haha
-I need to not diagnose myself after webmd-ing. I should just go to a trained doctor. But that makes too much sense.
+Almost forgot, My brother got me Handbanana for my birthday!!! "Tonight You!"

Everyday I'm hustling...

I've actually been trying really hard to save money, since I don't want to get a second job. I'm packing lunches, making my own coffee (sometimes...heh) and not going out. I saved up for 2 weeks before I went out and craved a burger so bad! It was out of control.
I've been stumbling upon over time lately which is super random lucky. We never get offered over time and when they need it I'm the only one that just happens to be there when they're looking for someone. WOOT WOOT! I really wanted to be spiteful and not go in for someone on Thanksgiving but I have zero plans that day and I need the money....so why not.
I'm trying to give myself a 2 week spending limit every pay period. So far its been kinda working, but I keep forgetting and use my card instead of my allotted amount of cash.
In a nutshell, I've been a homebody thats watching movies with my cat. Gotta do, what I gotta do, if I want to move out in 6 months....on my own.

you make me-feel like I'm living a.....

Last week was amazeballs! I flew to Long Beach and hung out with everyone including my mom! We got to stay at Shane's grandma's beach house in Seal Beach and had an awesome halloween party. We made an ICP coffin with ICP baby. We also had a knight with rocket boots and a dragon with a cut out for pictures. I was very impressed with the whole set up and am now thinking about making everything out of cardboard. We had a couple of piles of cardboard and made so much from them. I had seen articles about how people made tons of things out of cardboard and now I know its possible.
I had so much fun in my old stomping grounds. We even went to CSULB, my favorite part too, the Japanese Gardens.
I also turned 26 while I was there. I couldn't have picked a better place. I knew that I didn't want to be in Portland and I had this option fall in my lap so I quickly took it.

one of these lost and lonely dreams....

I've been laying low recently for a couple of reasons, mostly just to save the money. I've only really been going out on Monday's for movie night. Tonight I got wind of an art show so I went. It was fun. Going places on your own isn't so bad...even though I'm kinda awkward on my own. heh
Work is still crazy. Crazier everyday it seems. The cats won't stop coming. Where are they coming from? Theres a hoarding case on Thursday. I think I'm going to ask if I can go. I'm a little nervous. But it shouldn't be too bad....right?
In other non-related news to anything. I ate way too much pizza in the last week. If you know me at all you know my feelings towards pizza. And having it on more than one occasion in a week is ridiculous. I feel like I need to cleanse my body of the cheesey/saucey toxins. Over reaction much? Anyway, I'm good on pizza for at least a month. bleh.

Let those eyes sparkle and shine, never a tear, baby of mine

So many babies! Christa's by far is the one that I was most excited about and can't wait to meet him in the flesh! Lanette, my friend since preschool also had a baby this week. Thats the one that makes me feel old, shes married and now with child. Someone my age with kids....gosh I'm old. And then there were the whole batch of babies at work. Brooke is the only girl so far and I'm forcing to her let me squeeze her since I can't see the others yet.
Well now that I think about it, I'm a parent too. Waverly, the most beautiful, awesome kitty ever!
In other news, Portland is being a great supportive friend while I'm adjusting to the new life style. I'm still putting the finishing touches on my new room. Next weekend will be the first that I have nothing to do! I'm stoaked to get to work on the room, put up the shelves and getting EVERYTHING out of boxes. Then work at the make shift workstation and get out some clay-ations! I'm so excited!

What is it called when you're really tired but want to do something and then end up doing nothing? I'm sure the germans have a word for it, they have a word for everything.
House sitting + big tv + booze + hot tub = longer drive to work.
My friend had her baby, one down, two to go.
GAP finally has black jeans. After my black jean quest, they decided to bring them back. And why didn't they have any black jeans anyway? ARG!
I now have 3 pairs of black jeans. I need a new quest.
