Nisa's week in rage!

This happens every week and it's always something that's some first world problem. This week's main rage: department potlucks! My department is the vulture of the company. We find out about other people's food and eat and are too lazy to organize our own. The people in the department that are too dumb to realize that complain about how our department never participates in fun events. Well, in order to mute complaints I asked if everyone wanted to make a potluck. After a week's time 5 people including myself had signed up, I threw one out because it was cups and 2 jugs of soda. Anyway, I overhear someone saying they would be coming in on their day off- what were they going to bring someone asked. Their response, "I dunno, something from the store like cookies." I wanted to uninvite them on the spot. I felt like peppermint patty on the thanksgiving episode.
Anyway, tomorrow will be fine. I'll be monitoring my chiladas like a hawk to make sure the vultures don't take any. Bring something or leave. Never am I organizing such an event again. However, if you would like to run the shamrock run let me know. I'm the captain of the OHS team and in order for me to get my free sweater and gift certificate I need 30 people. I WANT THE SWEATER!!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

Apparently I missed the storm when I went to Florida. What a great swap, the weather in south beach was perfect, not too hot, not humid, perfect. And now that I'm back here the weather has been perfect- 3 layers and I'm good to go. Before I went to Florida I got my pea coat dry cleaned and I got to break it in this weekend. *excited*
This year has seriously flown by, I can't believe it's already December! So much has happened this year and I can't wait for it to end and to start new adventures.

My parents, Eizelle and Shane are coming next week. I have a couple things lined up, light seeking and food. Hope the parents have fun. My mom is excited to bake while she's here- what a mom.

Is it just me or is it weird when the pharmacist is a male when you're picking up you're birth control? And even weirder when he's around your age? And even weirder when he hits on you? I felt the need to tell him that I need them to save all my blood not a reason to have sex with all the boys.

I'm going to Miami on a few days and I'm all loaded up with birth control so I can have all the sex with all the boys. JK I'm meeting up with the anissarage for the first time in a long time! SO EXCITED and nervous. I just don't want to look stupid. I've been in Portland too long, all I wear now are jeans and plaid. I wish I were joking.

Oh well, in other news my burpie meds are working. The contained excitment is wanting to burst. The only reason it's contained is because I know no one cares. That's like telling someone you're getting a bunion removed, who cares? The person who's getting it removed! My burps are removed!

It's already the middle of November! Birthday came and went, as they do. It was an especially weird birthday, I'll leave it at that.
Trying to get shit done. Miami is almost here and then soon after I'll be seeing my parents. So excited.
Since the year is almost over its time to start making New Years resolutions that I'll never keep. What to flake on this year?

OHS got a bunch of dogs. We're getting to good at this, it's the smoothest rescue. I wish I could post pictures bc the dogs are kinda cute.

It all comes down to you

I was on a walk with the dogs today and I thought about how life has been so simple lately. I've been working, pet sitting, running and eating. Simple but happy. At times I wish more people were involved but then I wonder if that would throw a wrench in the whole simple but happy thing I got going on.

My birthday is coming up. I always hate celebrating my birthday but this year is going to be low key. Baugnan left some sparkling wine for me to chug on my big day. This is going to be the first time in 10 years that I'm celebrating my birthday without Eizelle. I guess that means we're growing up. I don't like that.

After going to see Cut Copy I'll hope for the month to pass quickly. Then I'll get to see the anissarage <3

Abracadabra

Wheeeeew these last couple weeks have been crazy! So busy with work and no play per usual. I really need to get out more.

I started going to the gym again. I really want to run another half but I'm going slow because my knee has been killin. It's starting to get cold and rainy so I need to figure out if I am going to be a baby and not run outside(leaning toward that) or suck it up and run in the rain(booo). I always get what I want so looks like long runs are out for the winter.

I currently have 2 crazy kittens living in my room. I don't mind fostering but I wish I had a better set up for them. I don't want them in my room. When I become an adult and move out, I'll make sure to have a room that will accommodate my fostering needs.

Ever since I was sitting on the island I became fancy and started drinking wine. By no means are they fancy or am I trying to be fancy. I think it just marks the fact that I'm single so much better than beer.

Harleighisms, I'm going to start writing down all the ridiculous things she says. We have our Halloween costumes picked out. SO EXCITED! They're going to be soooo- cute?

Speaking of Halloween, my birthday is fast approaching. My plan: eat & drink all day, AD ALL DAY! ALL DAY!

More recent news: I've been house sitting nonstop. I'm currently at "dads" house. I'm having a great time drinking wine and chucking the ball for the dogs. Best part: I get to watch so much criminal minds! Ya, I'm having a good time.
